To that end, Takeo was seeking a relevant, in-depth and cost effective cloud services to design complex systems to foster better collaboration between our workforce and clients.


As CEO at Takeo, Blake Ruwali’s task was to provide better infrastructure for the company’s operation while cutting the costs.

Takeo is a company that wants to set the pace, not just keep up with it. We didn’t just want a simple siloed solutions, we also wanted to automate all of our manual processes while cutting the costs.

Fortunately, Takeo was a Microsoft Partner and had already been utilizing Microsoft Azure. As an expert Microsoft partner, Takeo already had the expertise to easily adapt to Microsoft solutions. The next step was to implement the entire Microsoft solutions and migrate from other platforms.

To get started, Takeo began by carefully solutions provided by Microsoft that were most relevant to the company and its staff. We then defined the architecture of the solutions and documented it. Utilizing Azure to host their websites and mobile apps, Microsoft 365 Business to unify the business instead of G Suite, Microsoft Teams to bring together staff instead of Slack, Dynamics 365 for Sales to better understand customer needs, engage more effectively and win more deals instead of Salesforce, and Power Apps to build the business apps we need and extend the apps we already used. Based on their department and division, Azure Active Directory was configured and users were licensed based on the Active Directory.


Takeo then worked to integrate core Microsoft Platforms and custom apps built using Power Apps to make it easy for our global workforce to work better and together, wherever they were, and whenever it suited. Takeo now runs on Microsoft Cloud.

A phased migration was planned and all staff was notified of the changes and our company generated awareness and enthusiasm for new platforms through internal campaigns. Today, Till today, Takeo utilizes Micros0ft Azure, Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365 and Power Apps to operate the business
